During the week of the Virtual International Careers Fair the Careers Service
is running a range of activities specifically for International Students.

International Students Support Day

An opportunity for international students to find out about this week's Virtual International Careers Fair and other help available from the Careers Service. For general enquiries, a free information pack, soft drinks and chocolate, just drop in.

International Students - Overcoming the barriers to working in the UK After Your Studies
1.05pm - 2.00pm
Hicks Building, LTC

This session will be run by Judy Everett - (Careers Adviser (International Students and Employers) and Jo Holliday - Student Adviser (International) from the Students Union. It will cover 'permission to work' guidelines and information on career planning for International Students including topics such as job search, making applications etc.

International Students - Permission to Work in the UK After Your Studies
5.15pm - 6.45pm
Student Union Auditorium

A specialist seminar has been organised by the Union's Student Advice Centre to explain the latest schemes to remain in the UK to work after your studies. The speakers will be Kim Langford, a Business Immigration adviser from White Rose Visas and Jo Holliday, International Student Adviser from the Student Advice Centre. The talk will cover both the Tier 1 General (Highly Skilled) and Post Study Work categories.
