Yorkshire Autumn Graduate Recruitment Fair

Environmental Law Foundation

Exhibiting: Wednesday 4th November 2009

The Environmental Law Foundation (ELF) is the national UK charity founded in 1992 that helps people use the law to protect and improve their local environment and quality of life. Through our network of specialist lawyers and consultants across the UK, we provide free guidance and continuing support to those in need of assistance.

ELF also provides education and training; promotes lectures, conferences and seminars; produces publications and encourages policy development. Above all, we provide a voice for communities and individuals.

Graduate Opportunities

We run internships within our Advice and Referral service - this is for a period of 3-6 mths, 2-3 days a week based at the ELF office. The A&R service offers free legal advice to members of the public who have specific environmental/ public interest concerns.

We are also looking to recruit regional volunteers, from within the 9 regions of England, who will work with us on an events programme over three years, looking to engage and empower under-represented and local communities in their participation with environmental decision making processes.

Undergraduate Opportunities

We do not usually take in undergraduates. However, on occassion we do consider applications. Opportunities are as above.
