Entry Requirements: First or second class honours degree in a numerate discipline (eg mathematics, economics, sciences, business studies, psychology and geology).

Location: York, Leeds, Sheffield, Darlington, Newcastle, Newport, London, Portsmouth, Southend, High Wycombe, Cardiff, Bath, Bristol.
Salary Range: Salary scales vary from department to department. In London, average starting pay is around £26,000 for Assistant Statistician, £24,000 for Statistical Officer and Temporary Statistical Officer. Regionally, average starting pay is around £24,000 for Assistant Statistician, £22,000 for Statistical Officer and Temporary Statistical Officer.
