Graduate Opportunities
The Firth Rixson Full Graduate Scheme
On completion of your degree you will commence the 2 year Graduate Scheme which comprises of up to five rotations, ranging from three to six months in length.
You will be provided with the opportunity to work in different Firth Rixson businesses in a variety of locations with the possibility of an international assignment, enabling you to gain familiarity with all of Firth Rixsons products and services, as well as the culture and structure of each site.
You will learn the core concepts of Theory of Constraints and how to apply them to improve operations, technical, sales and finance. You may also have the opportunities to assume leadership roles by leading or co-leading TOC events tied to Value Stream Mapping, 6S (6 Sigma), or Kaizen events on assignment.
During the two year programme, you will combine classroom learning with practical project based work experience and then, subject to performance outcomes and business requirements, will be allocated a permanent position within the business

These are normally offered on a 3 month basis during the Summer period. These are offered on an adhoc basis, generally within the Technical and Engineering Fields.
Graduate Sponsorships
These are offered on suitability of area of study and merit of individual, whereby Firth Rixson will assist with agreed study costs in return for work placement at holiday times and any work placement gap years.
