About the Fair
Winter may have arrived but the thought of summer is never too far away, and the summer vacation is a great opportunity for students to undertake some fabulous experiences that ultimately look great on their CV's.
The careers services at Sheffield Hallam University and The University of Sheffield are jointly hosting the Summer Experience Fair on Tuesday 9th March 2010. This fair is all about summer and the experiences that students can get involved with. So, if you offer summer vacation work or have opportunities for students to undertake an expedition, placement or project abroad then this is the fair for you.
Stand prices start at only £50 plus VAT and include:
- 3m x 2m stand space with table, tablecloth and chairs
- lunch for two representatives
- an organisation profile on the fair website, including the ability to show videos of the destinations/projects available, a place to upload detailed vacation vacancies, and a frequently asked questions page for you to load up answers to questions that students just always want to ask!
Or, you can upgrade to the enhanced package for £100 plus VAT and receive:
- All of the above, plus:
- a 30-minute presentation slot on the day
- your logo and presentation title/time included on the promotional flyers for the event
(c10,000 flyers will be printed and distributed throughout the two Sheffield campuses)
At the fair you can expect to meet c2,000 students - students that study a wide variety of degree disciplines and from all years of study, brought together for one common reason - a long summer vacation and the need to do something with it!
