Directions

The Summer Experience Fair will take place at Sheffield Hallam University's city campus, centrally located in Sheffield City Centre. The Fair will be held in the Atrium & Hallam Hall, located in the Owen Building and you can access these rooms using the main entrance off Arundel Gate, see map below.

Due to its central location, we are unable to offer car parking facilities and would recommend that you travel to the fair by train. 

From Sheffield Rail Station:
The venue is a 3 minute walk from the train station.  Leave using the main exit and head towards the Showroom Cinema, following the silver waterfall to the pedestrian crossing.  Cross both roads and walk up Howard Street (Howard pub on the bottom corner).  At the top of Howard Street you will see the main entrance on the right hand side (adjacent to Blackwell's book shop).

Travelling by Car:
If you are travelling by car there are city centre car parks close by that you can use. These are:

Access to the venue for loading/unloading
All equipment or materials must enter the building through the Goods Entrance, which is located on level 4 of the Owen Building.  Access to the Loading Bay is via Surrey Lane (the street parallel to Howard Lane on the diagram below). Please note that space at the loading entrance is limited. Exhibitors may drop off stands but may not leave vehicles in the loading bay whilst setting up.

Access Times
Exhibitors can access their stands from 10.00am on the morning of the Fair. Unfortunately, due to venue constraints we are unable to allow exhibitors to set-up stands before this time.  Stands must be completed before 10.45am.

The Fair will close at 3.30pm. Exhibitors may not start clearing stands before this time. Stands must by fully dismantled and removed from the site by 5.00pm. 

Sheffield Universities Recruitment Fairs and Sheffield Hallam University can accept no responsibility for any materials left unattended at the venue.

Stands and literature should arrive on Monday 8th March 2010, preferably in the afternoon.
