Groundwork Leeds

Groundwork Leeds is an environmental regeneration charity that helps people and organisations make changes in order to create better neighbourhoods, to build skills and job prospects, and to live and work in a greener way.

Groundwork’s local, regional, national and international programmes are delivered by staff who are experts in six key areas:
Communities: building stronger neighbourhoods
Land: reconnecting people with their surroundings
Employment: training for work and encouraging enterprise
Education: learning, citizenship and sustainability
Business: integrating the economy and the environment

Groundwork Leeds Regional Volunteer Programme

At Groundwork Leeds we work on hundreds of individual projects each year and offer a wide range of exciting volunteer posts to support community environmental programmes throughout Yorkshire and The Humber. Voluntary roles include education, practical conservation,youth work, environmental business services, community consultation and much more.
