Upon joining Brocade, you will participate in the University Development Program (UDP) and the Sales Systems Associate Program (SSAP). Both are designed to educate you on the SAN technology and industry, Brocade’s business and products, and train you on key interpersonal skills which will set you up for quick integration and success.

SALES SYSTEMS ENGINEERS

Brocade’s Sales Systems Engineers are the corner stone to our customer’s success. As the trusted technical advisor and partner to our Sales Account Managers, our customers can be assured their technical needs will be exceeded with the best Brocade solution possible.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of SAN technology, architecture, and Brocade’s products and solutions.
• Partner with Account Managers to understand our customer’s needs and design the SAN solution to exceed those needs.
• Present Brocade solutions and demonstrations to customers, partners and/or integrators.
• Build and execute joint test plans with OEMs, partners, and/or key application vendors.
• Drive the implementation and installation of Brocade technology at customers’ sites.
Technical Competencies:
• BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, NT or VMS operating systems.

SALES ASSOCIATES

Brocade’s Sales Associates are the key to our customer’s and Brocade’s success. A Sales Associate is pivotal in indentifying potential customers and partnering with existing customers to qualify and exceed their SAN and LAN needs while building and maintaining lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of SAN technology and architecture, Brocade and competitors’ products and solutions, and industry trends.
• Generate qualified leads from traditional and progress avenues.
• Identify client’s business drivers to determine and articulate Brocade’s value.
• Build, maintain, and grow customers’ relationships while providing extraordinary customer service and support.
Technical Competencies:
• BS or MS degree in business, communications, computer science or related fields.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Motivated and determined; persistent and enthusiastic.
