Teach First

Teach First is an independent charity launched in 2002 to bring excellent teachers into challenged secondary schools across the UK.

Our mission is to address educational disadvantage by transforming exceptional graduates into effective, inspirational teachers and leaders in all fields.

Graduate Opportunities

The Teach First Leadership Development Programme is a two-year commitment, but our aim is for you to make it a lifetime’s engagement by becoming a Teach First Ambassador. Our mission to address educational disadvantage goes beyond your minimum two-years of teaching – demanding as that will be. Instead, our goal is to equip you as part of a new cohort of leaders in all fields with the motivation, skills and understanding to effect long-term, sustainable change in education.
