Our Media & Communications Industry Day will showcase a selection of creative organisations currently working in the media industry. It is a joint collaboration between Sheffield Hallam University's Media Arts & Communications Department and the Careers & Employment Service and takes place on Friday 18th November from 11.00am until 4.00pm.
It is designed to help you to...
- meet a targeted audience of students studying a Media Arts degree subject;
- raise the profile of your organisation on campus;
- provide information on the types of work that you are involved in;
- promote your graduate opportunities and immediate vacancies to a large audience of final year undergraduate and postgraduate students;
- promote your internship and placement opportunities to students in earlier years of study.
It is not a recruitment day but an opportunity to bring like-minded individuals together, enabling students to learn more about the industry in which they hope to enter whilst giving employers the chance to see our students' innovation, creativity and imagination.
Who will I meet You can expect to meet a large number of Sheffield Hallam students who are currently studying towards a media arts and communications degree. Take a look at the courses that our students are studying - our students.
How is the Fair promoted? Students from Sheffield Hallam University's Media Arts & Communications Department will make up the largest proportion of visitors, however the fair is open to all students and graduates and we will actively promote this event on campus - take a look at our publicity plan.
How do I book a stand? If you would like to participate in our event please contact Michelle Dexter, Fairs Manager by email at m.l.dexter@sheffield.ac.uk or simply complete our online booking form. There is no charge to attend.
Are there additional options for raising the profile of my organisation? We've put together a selection of sponsorship opportunities to help you stand out - take a look at our sponsorship page.
