If you have job opportunities over Summer 2012 then book on to exhibit at The "Online" Summer Experience Fair, where you can advertise, recruit and talk to students about your vacancies.

Last year, an amazing 2361 students and graduates registered to take part in the Summer Experience Fair.  Once registered, those students could view online the details of employers who were offering internships, part time work and travel abroad for Summer 2011.

Once students had registered for the fair, we sent them regular updates such as new summer work opportunities, details about employers who were visiting campus as well as important information about working abroad.

The fair was so successful that we're running it bigger and better this year! 

As an employers you can book online and you will automatically receive the following included in your online package:

• Your organisations profile on The "Online" Summer experience fair exhibitor list
• Your vacancy(ies) included with your profile and also included in our vacancy search option within the fair. Once you have booked onto the fair you can continue adding vacancies up until the end of the fair on the 4th May 2012.
• If you have a video or a You Tube clip add this and bring your profile to life."A picture can say a thousand words" and videos can convey what text alone can't.  
• Ask a question page. We encourage students to ask questions at a virtual fair, just as they would at a physical fair on campus.  We vet all questions and then post them onto you.  Students questions are specific and relate to information they can't find out from your website.

For those employers who are interested in meeting students face to face on campus, we are also offering you the opportunity to speak to our students on three different dates:

• Come and speak to students at the University of Sheffield's ultimate fair on the 8th February 2012.  The ultimate fair is hosted by The University of Sheffield's Student Union and promotes sport and activities societies, volunteering, alumni and careers services.  As part of this event you will meet over 2000 students and be promoted as a current employer using the University of Sheffield Careers Service, in particular the Summer Experience Fair. There is limited availability to feature at this fair and therefore positions will be given on a first come first served basis.
• As part of the "online" Summer Experience fair we are holding a mini campus fair on the 20th March 2012 in The University of Sheffield's Union. You can participate in a small group of employers that will be showcasing opportunites for "summer work", directly in the Students Union.  Located in the main entrance to the Union you will have the opportunity to speak to students on campus about your company and your vacancies.

The price for exhibiting on campus is an additional £55 + VAT.  This covers the cost of parking, lunch and administration.  Unfortunately discounts for charities and not for profits are not available on this package.
