Promotion & Publicity

Spring into Jobs will be promoted as a must for all serious seekers of graduate positions commencing in 2012, immediate graduate vacancies, summer internships and placement opportunities.

Our Target Audience:

Final year undergraduate and postgraduate students from the two Sheffield universities will make up the largest proportion of visitors; you can also expect to meet with graduates and students in earlier years of study looking for internship and placement positions.

Publicity Channels

The following publicity channels ensure that we are able to effectively promote this Fair to our target audiences:

Students at The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University

  • Emails to all final year and undergraduate students.
  • Specific departmental emails highlighting employers that are targeting final year and undergraduate students per department.
  • Circulation of posters and flyers on all campuses, including large-format posters in the Students Union buildings.
  • Promotion of the Fair across departmental plasma screens, screensavers, computer pop-up's and portal sites.
  • Advertisements via the Students Union.
  • Publicity banners in high-traffic areas on campus.
  • Web banners on the careers service websites.
  • A targetted facebook advertising campaign, aimed at Sheffield students.
